haha...how long will u be there? how's the weather? in chicago, it was the coldest autumn ever, temp<10.even my car's windscreen ICED over!
by the way do you have a car there? are you alone? lol..anyway make sure u make the best out of it k..take care and dun come back falling sick like I did :S
Will be here for 2 weeks. I'm in California so the weather is still nice. It's still warm during the day but quite chilly at night. If autumn in Chicago is already so cold, can't imagine what it's like during winter. @.@
I have a car, a toyota. I had to drive it back from San Francisco to San Jose and i was freaking out the whole way back. Had to keep reminding myself to drive on the right instead of the left. Kept using the wiper instead of the signal light.
Get well soon. I think I might fall sick by the time I go home as well. travelling for 24 hours straight is no fun. and I couldn't sleep on the plane :(
yeah, dats what they told me; "wait till u experience full-scale winter!"
haha well u managed it so it shud be alrite! i kena a few times with the wipers too lol
good dat its warm but too bad u couldnt sleep on plane, mst be exhausted!

Hey Mindy! Glad to hear that you are safe, though tired. :) I would have expected you to be very tired, what with the long flight! Anyway, hope to talk to you soon in office. Take care, and remember.....drive on the right side! :P
i was in SJ too for biz trip erm...3 yrs ago! was staying at Marriott Residence Inn which kinda look like the photo.
Anyway, dont leave the office too late. Most restaurants tutup kedai/last order around 8.30pm.
R u there alone? Do u need to explore/sightsee by urself? Hope u have GPS if u r alone.
Go to Mystery Spot...it's nice. But the drive there is kinda scary...it seems like it is deep inside the woods. Go with someone. Ohhh....n go to the premium outlet stores in gilroy. lotsa cheap branded stuff.
Yup, I'm staying at Marriott. Here alone though there will be someone else from Penang reaching here in a few days time. I'll wait for her before I go and explore the place. It's hard to concentrate on driving on the other side of the road and on the gps as the same time.
Will definitely check out gilroy.
Mindy, I hardly sleep in the plane too. But I find that eyes cover help a lot. It has that "magic" to make me feel sleepy after putting it on. And, to avoid being distracted by the noise, I had music "stuck" in my ears too. (Bring a small pillow if you think it helps too)
Enjoy ur stay there dear~~ Hopefully your "boss" doesn't give you a lot of works

Not being able to sleep on the plane is torturous. Have fun while you are there dear. :)
I left on Saturday. Yin How didn't follow so he is a free man for 2 week. ;)
